This instantly recognisable TAG Heuer Monaco Gulf watch celebrates the greatest moments of motor racing’s history with a colourful dial styled in Gulf colours. The famous blue and orange colours of Gulf Oil, whose iconic livery was worn by the Le Mans winning Porsches of the late 1960s, are displayed beautifully across the dial. The dial starts with a stunning dark blue and is finished with two light blue and orange stripes, the very same colours worn by McQueen on the Le Mans racetrack. This TAG Heuer Monaco Gulf watch is also presented in the collection’s famous square case worn by the legendary Steven McQueen in the classic 1970 Hollywood film ‘Le Mans’.
This TAG Heuer Monaco Gulf watch for men continues to impress with its spectacular 39mm polished stainless steel square case equipped with bevelled sapphire crystal glass with anti-reflective treatment. Housed beneath the glass is the stunning striped dial detailed with rhodium plated hour and minute hands decorated with glow in the dark white Superluminova, faceted applied indexes, a red chronograph seconds hand and a large date window at 6 o clock. Each of these functions, as well as the two subsidiary dials for continuous seconds and 30 minutes counter, are powered by TAG Heuer’s famous Calibre 11 automatic movement. This Swiss made movement is fitted with a remarkable 59 jewels and promises a power reserve of 40 hours. To compliment the sporty dial and complete the comfortable aesthetic, this TAG Heuer Monaco Gulf watch is fitted with a luxurious blue calfskin leather strap and a classic stainless steel deployment buckle.
